Hello everyboy,

it's Alpe-Adria meeting again!

After the nice event of the last year a top of Mount Matajur organized by the AFAM group, I offer you this year another wonderful meeting on the Carnia Mountains.

The organising group is the last formed "Gruppo astronomico Polse di Cougnes", but even if new he has already a guinness, few months ago they installed a wonderful Ritchey-Chretien 70 cm telescope devoted to symbiotic stars and supernovae research.

I have the pleasure to invite you all to this important event, important for several reasons: this is the 20th year A-A meeting, as everybody know 2009 is the year of astronomy, a brand new 70 cm telescope is starting its life and so on.
What's more, the place has several nice location to visit for relatives and friends, so DON'T MISS this meeting, it will be unique. You can find all the infos to reach the place in this web page http://astro.lapolse.org/aa_meeting/eventi.html where you can find also the program of the meeting.

I hope to see you numerous.

Clear skies

Paolo Corelli
Alpe-Adria Coordinator
